Wi-Fi Room Overview

The Showdown! Wi-Fi Room is a place for players to battle, trade and connect online in the main-line Pokémon games! We currently support online communications in Nintendo Switch titles. The possibilities are endless!

Every room on Showdown has a list of rules that are intended to be read by new members of the community upon joining. We encourage becoming familiar with the PS! Wi-Fi ruleset before participating in discussions in the room in order to gain a strong understanding of how the room operates.

PS! Wi-Fi is a legitimate trade/battle community, because of this; ALL hacks, hacking methods, and discussion of hacking is BANNED. Using or trading hacked/cheated Pokémon will result in room punishment (up to a permanent blacklist from the room).

If you believe you have received a hacked Pokémon in a trade from someone in our community be sure to report it to an active member of Room Staff. (Found by typing /roomstaff directly into the chat!)

How To Participate:

There are a large number of ways that users can contribute towards making the room a better place and to keep the community thriving, some of these include:

  • Engaging in trades, battles & in-game discussion with people from all over the world.
  • Keeping up to date on the latest official in-game news, such as ongoing event distributions.
  • Participating in ongoing room events focused around the game to win prizes.
  • Participating in Tournaments of various tiers and rulesets.
  • Participating in Giveaways and win some rare & exclusive in-game prizes.
  • Becoming a member of the Event Helper team and working behind the scenes to bring events to life.

We support trades, battles and online communications in all officially supported main series titles, these include:

Switch:
  • Scarlet & Violet
  • Sword & Shield
  • Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
  • Let's Go! Pikachu & Eevee
  • Legends: Arceus
  • Pokémon HOME (Friend Trades)

Only friend trades are supported in HOME, GTS and Room/Group Trades are strictly banned!

Unsupported:
  • Pokémon HOME (GTS and Room Trades)
  • Pokémon GO
  • 3DS & DS titles (due to official server termination)

Change Logs
