A Guide To Giveaway Forms

This page contains a short guide on how to create a correctly formatted giveaway using our giveaway system. Incorrectly formatted giveaways will be denied! Make sure that you are formatting your giveaway correctly!

  1. Type /rfaq ga into the main room to bring up the HTML box for giveaways.

  2. Click the Giveaway FORM button to automatically open the giveaway form tool.

  3. Choose your giveaway type, Lottery or Question.

    Note - Question giveaways tend to have fewer entrants than lottery. Your question can be difficult, but it must be reasonable for participants to find the answer with quick research. Hosted giveaways will time out if nobody guesses correctly.
  4. Enter the details of the Pokémon you want to give away as accurately as possible.

    Note - Any of this information being entered incorrectly will result in your GA being denied or ended partway through by room staff. Misrepresenting any of this information can be treated as a scam, so please do your best to submit forms accurately in as few attempts as possible.
  5. Confirm that the details of the Pokémon are correct before submission (lotto example)

    Note - In this example, Appletun a la Mode is giving away one Gouging Fire in a Safari ball in Gen 9 (SV), with six unknown IVs (x/x/x/x/x/x). We see this is coming from a file with the trainer Star with the ID 42069. This Gouging Fire is fully EV trained and has had its build imported from the PS! Teambuilder. It is also indicated as having the Partner mark.
  6. Confirm that the details of the Pokémon are correct before submission (question example)

    Note - In this example, Appletun a la Mode is giving away one Gouging Fire in a Safari ball in Gen 9 (SV), with six unknown IVs (x/x/x/x/x/x). We see this is coming from a file with the trainer Star with the ID 42069. This Gouging Fire is fully EV trained and has had its build imported from the PS! Teambuilder. It has a Hasty nature naturally but has been minted to Adamant.

    The question being used is "What is clampearl's evo?" In this case, there are two possible answers: huntail, and gorebyss. Both answers are correct, so both have been listed as answers separated by a comma.
  7. Submit your giveaway and wait for a member of staff to approve it!
