A checklist for creating & verifying a proof album in any game.

Certain Pokémon require proof before being traded. The requirements vary based on the game, and encounter method. You can check below if your Pokémon needs proof, and what you need to include in your album.

A consistent video of a successful capture leading into the in-box IV evaluation and summary screens, enough to clearly show OT/TID and nature. The video can start at any point before the end of the battle or end of battle cutscene.

Your Pokémon must be clearly identifiable with no ambiguity whatsoever. It is advised to clear a space in your party or send your Pokémon to an empty box to avoid ambiguity.

It is recommended to unlock the IV Judge function before attempting to prove a Pokémon, otherwise you will need to prove the IVs from the stats using an IV calculator (or similar tool/application/overlay).

Image Proof (Mystery Gifts Only!):

For image proof, you must take the pictures with an external camera and provide a paper slip which displays your Showdown! username.

Provide an image of the redemption screen showing that a valid code has been used, for events that do not come with a redeemable code, the picture can be of any point during the redemption process.

Provide an image of the IV/Nature evaluation screen, this image should clearly show the IVs and Nature of the redeemed Pokemon.

If the Pokémon takes the OT/TID of the player, you must provide a picture of your trainer card & summary screen of the Pokémon to prove that the trainer information is a match.

Your Showdown! Username must be visible somewhere in your proof link, so it is easy to identify the user that obtained the Pokémon.

If your raid was obtained using an automation tool (e.g RaidCrawler), you may optionally provide a screenshot of the tool output, displaying the internal details of your Pokémon. Sensitive information can be partially blurred on every screenshot (no more than half!)

Scarlet/Violet - Untradable Pokemon

When obtained in Scarlet/Violet, these Pokémon cannot be traded in Wi-Fi under any circumstances.

6IV Pokémon from in-life event distributions.
6IV shiny Pokémon from eggs obtained in Link Trades.
Any Pokémon obtained from Surprise Trade.
6IV shiny rare form Tandemaus and Dudunsparce from Wild/Egg encounters.
Mystery Gift redemptions that randomly qualify for the Jumbo OR Teensy mark obtained before Feb 27th 2023.

Trading any Pokémon in this list will result in room punishment.

If you are using Overlays for RNG manipulation, you must provide:
